Walkway Matting
We offer various grades of material for walkways, depending on the underlying floor and the type of
traffic. Generally for animal and human walkways on concrete or other hard substrates, a semi-cushioned, hard wearing, anti-slip flooring is offered. Walkways and Gangways are often overlooked, but can be one of the most hazardous areas - many of our mats are available in roll form, perfect for laying along aisles and walkways.
Our standard roll-form matting products, in fine rib, medium-rib and broad-rib pattern are all suitable for walkways and aisles. While black is the norm, we are able to supply a variety of colours in these mat types, according to stock availability at the time. Rolls are available in 1m and 1.2m widths in 10mt lengths, with thickness of between 3mm and 9.5mm
Block matting is very durable, easy to lay flooring that can be used in a variety of applications.
Particularly suited to external paving, these blocks can be laid direct onto any sound sub-base. On
hard surfaces such as concrete, where load bearing is required, it is recommended that the blocks
are bonded to the surface. The blocks are available in different colours, allowing patterns to be
designed in the floor space. They are produced from recycled rubber with elastomeric binders and
features such as bevelled edges can be incorporated into your design.
Anti-fatigue matting can incorporate a yellow hazard marker along each edge which is also tapered
and is designed for working areas where you may need to stand for long periods. It is available in
either a sponge or solid matting, both offering excellent shock-absorbency, reducing strain on legs
and back. We can also supply the same material without hazard marking. Many other suitable matting materials are available - please call for details specific to your application.
